- we_find_that_the_prophet_Elisha_was_able_to_bring_the_Shunammite_woman’s_son_back_to_life_in_a_supernatural_way_that_can_only_be_possible_with_the_divine_help_of_our_Creator._9._The_Gift_of_Serving_Believers_who_have_the_spirit_of_serving_have_both_the_desire_and_capacity_to_serve_the_Lord_by_means_of_providing_physical_and_spiritual_help_to_others._Serving_or_ministering_is_directly_related_to_the_word_deacon_(which_comes_from_the_Greek_word_“diakonian”)
- which_stands_for_all_kinds_of_service._A_great_example_of_someone_from_the_Bible_who_had_the_gift_of_serving_is_Tabitha_(which_means_Dorcas)._Acts_9:36_reveals_that_“She_was_full_of good_works_and_acts_of_charity.”_and_Scriptures_further_show_us_that_Tabitha_had_a_talent_for_sewing_that_she_used_to_help_clothe_the_widows_of_the_church_in_the_town_of_Joppa._However

- be_it_attention_or_anything_material._Giving_joyfully_to_others_is_also_something_that_pleases_God_the_Lord_as_evident_by_2_Corinthians_9:7:_“Each_one_must_give_as_he_has_decided_in_his_heart
- not_reluctantly_or_under_compulsion
- for God_loves_a_cheerful_giver.”._It’s_not_about_giving_to_the_poor_and_needy_just_for_the_sake_of_it
- but_actually_feeling_led_to_give_to_others_and_feel_joyful_when_doing_so
- without_any_hesitance._We_are_given_the_ultimate_example_of_giving_unconditionally_to_those_who_don’t_deserve_it_by_what_Jesus_did_on_the_cross_for_humanity._He_gave_Himself_for_sinners_(i.e._all_of_humanity)_so_that_we_may_have_eternal_life_by_believing_in_Him._11._The_Gift_of_Teaching_Another_one_of_the_gifts_of_the_Holy_Spirit_is_the_supernatural_gift_of_teaching_related_to_explaining_the_true_context_and_meaning_of_Scripture_and_how_it_applies_to_our_lives._The_great_commission_revealed_by_Jesus_at_the_very_end_of_the_gospel_according_to_Matthew_includes_not_only_sharing_the_good_news_but_also_teaching_the_gentiles_in_the_ways_of_God._Here’s_what’s_written_in_Matthew_28:19-20:_“Go_therefore_and make_disciples_of all_nations
- baptizing_them in the_name_of_the_Father_and_of_the_Son_and_of_the_Holy_Spirit
- teaching_them to_observe_all_that I_have_commanded_you._And_behold
- I_am_with_you_always
- to the_end_of_the_age.”._The_gift_of_teaching_is_not_an_educational_degree_that_lets_you_teach_others._It’s_a_spiritual_gift_made_possible_by_the_Holy_Spirit_working_in_the_life_of_a_believer_to_accurately_teach_the_message_of_the_Bible._12._The_Gift_of_Mercy_The_Holy_Spirit_can_bring_another_supernatural_gift_in_the_form_of_mercy_that’s_shown_toward_other_people._This_gift_is_about_being_compassionate_and_displaying_sympathy_to_those_who_suffer_while_doing_your_best_to_improve_their_situation._Notice_what_Paul_wrote_in_Romans_12:8_concerning_mercy_–_“the_one_who_exhorts

- in_generosity; the_one_who_leads
- with_zeal;_the_one_who_does_acts_of_mercy
- with cheerfulness.”._Believers_who_are_gifted_with_mercy_are_to_show_mercy_with_cheerfulness._On_top_of_that
- Jesus_Himself_said_“Blessed_are the_merciful
- for_they_shall_receive_mercy.”_in_Matthew_5:7._13._The_Gift_of_Helps_This_gift_of_the_Holy_Spirit_is_directly_related_to_the_gift_of_mercy_and_it’s_about_assisting_the_church_by_providing_grace_and_compassion._But_the_gift_of_help_isn’t_exclusively_focused_on_providing_practical_help_in_the_physical_and_emotional_sense._There’s_a_spiritual_aspect_to_helping_others_that_stems_from_the_supernatural_aspect_of_the_gifts_of_the_Holy_Spirit._The_spiritual_side_of_the_gift_of_help_is_demonstrated_by_identifying_people_who_suffer_from_doubt
- anxiety_and_fear_to_show_compassion_and_deliver_Biblical_truths
