THE TRUTH ABOUT RIGHTEOUSNESS FOUND IN FAITH

Today, brethren, I would like to talk specifically about justification. How are we counted? By our good deeds? OR follow this article.

 Introduction
This is a lesson that will explain how righteousness is obtained by faith. Righteousness is the standard that any human being must reach in order to be saved. That level of righteousness is so high that no ordinary human being can attain it. Adam and Eve reached that point immediately after they were created, before they fell into sin. After falling into sin another human being who has ever reached that level is Jesus. Jesus had both natures. He was one hundred percent human and God one hundred percent. Jesus did not use divinity to reach that level of righteousness. He used the same humanity available to any human being. The difference is that he was one hundred percent dependent on God as opposed to other human beings who were somewhat dependent on God and somewhat independent of themselves.

WHAT IS RIGHTEOUSNESS?
Usually justice is what you deserve after performing certain duties. An employee's right to work is a wage. An athlete's right is to be crowned with a degree of achievement. The right of a student is to be certified after meeting the required performance standards. Justice is the result of fulfilling certain agreements. In a spiritual sense, justice belongs only to God. That is why Swahili people have a saying that unfortunately is used in swearing which says 'Righteousness of God' Perhaps the intention of using that expression in an oath is to prove that the righteous are only God. Justice belongs to God because He alone is capable of attaining the highest standards of justice.

THE RIGHTEOUS IS GOD ALONE
Justice is the condition of non-claim in accordance with the agreement. God is holy. Holiness is a state of sinlessness. The standard for recognizing that a person has no sin is to check whether he is walking in accordance with God's Ten Commandments, because God's Ten Commandments are a measure of righteousness. A person who violates God's Commandments becomes a sinner and if he acts in accordance with the Ten Commandments he becomes holy and righteous. God has the right not to go against His commands or laws at any time. That is why he is known as holy or righteous. He does not do anything wrong at all. He has no evil in all three forms of evil. First He do not think bad thoughts as human beings. Second, He do not say anything bad as people do. And the third one, He does not do bad things as the people do. God has never done anything in that. He knows what is good and what is bad, but he has never exercised his own free will. He never thought or thought badly, said the wrong thing or did the wrong thing. He never did that when He had a divine nature and He never did that even when He took humanity!

JESUS NEVER SINS!

Jesus in the beginning was God. But he saw that equality with God was not something to be attached to. He willingly took human nature to redeem mankind. And even when he was a man he became obedient. In that humanity, Jesus obeyed perfectly. He obeyed God's Ten Commandments more fully than any human could ever do. He is the holiest man who ever lived. He was testified by those who lived in his generation that he was sinless. He once asked his listeners who among them had testified that he was a sinner, (John 8:46). No one came forward to prove that Jesus was sinful. One rich young man dared to call him a ‘good teacher’ because that was how he was known by many. He overcame sin not because he lived a life of ease as some think. He was tempted just as we are without sin. (Hebrews 4:15).

WHY IT IS DIFFICULT FOR HUMAN BEINGS TO BE RIGHT

It was possible for man to be righteous there before he fell into sin. After falling into sin man lost his ability to do good. He was no longer able to do what God's law required. His efforts to do what was right enabled him to attain a certain level of legal necessity, which did not give him the legitimacy of being declared righteous. The lowly prophet Isaiah calls it a defiled garment (Isaiah 64:6). The filthy garment he compares to our righteous deeds resulting from our efforts is like that worn by a woman who was in her day. Which not only was not desirable but it was a taboo for a Jew to approach it or touch it because it was defiled. So are our righteous deeds that we try to do with our own efforts manifest before God.

YOU CANNOT DO GOOD IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD
It is difficult for man to do good because he is no longer good. Good character was lost when we sinned. One of the great consequences of sin is the loss of our ability to do good. Other consequences of sin are loss of eternal life, loss of peace of mind, loss of inheritance and royalty given to us, loss of ability to recognize our weakness, loss of ability to recognize the power around us that we must cling to, loss of ability to exercise freedom our well-being, and loss of righteousness before God. In this book we will discuss everything we lost as a result of sin and how God, through Jesus Christ, has restored to us all that we have lost! At this point let's discuss how we lost our ability to do good.

Samson well knows the meaning of loss. He was a powerful man who lived during the Old Testament period in the nation of Israel. This supernatural man made the mistake of explaining the origin of his power to a prostitute named Delilah. Delilah, after being told that the source of Samson's power was his hair that had not been cut from birth, seized the opportunity while Samson fell asleep to shave off all his hair. Then suddenly when Samson was awakened to defend himself and his enemies around him he realized his strength, his power was gone and he no longer had his original strength. Samson tried to fight off his enemies, but he failed and was bound and eventually had both eyes pierced! Samson, who was originally a threat, was no longer a threat! He lost his origin. When humans sinned, they lost their original identity. The power to do good that was in them disappeared. They remained completely incapable of doing good. Some disabilities got in the way. Disability that did not allow the production of good deeds. Disability interfered with the proper functioning of the system that was running the body in the beginning. The intervention is similar to that which occurs when a computer is infected with a virus, or the human body is infected with the HIV virus. The original system is enslaved to a new system that assumes the authority to control everything that needs to be done. From the moment of intervention the new unintentional foreign system creates a permanent and permanent conflict between the two systems. If the original system wants to run the required system and the foreign enemy system wants to prevent the efficient operation of the original system. This conflict is mentioned by the Apostle Paul in the following statement. "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." (Galatians 5:17).

DIRTY CANNOT PROVIDE CLEAN
When Jesus was on earth he talked about this problem. He made it clear that man cannot do good because he is not good. “You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. ” (Matthew 12:34, 35). In this statement Jesus explains why man cannot say good things. The fault is not in his mouth or in his words. The fault lies in the origin or where the words are produced which is bad. And something bad usually does not give. a good thing. This fact is stated by the author of the book of Job when he puts this argument in the form of the question: "Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?

This disability of failure to do good affects all human beings because they inherit it. Everyone born of a woman comes into the world with this weakness in her body. All human beings regardless of gender, nationality, race, ethnicity, language or ethnicity. Just as it is difficult for man to change the nature of his nationality or gender, so it is difficult for man to change his nature of disability. The prophet Jeremiah puts it this way: “What? Can a Cushite (an African of Ethiopian descent) change his skin, or a leopard's spots? If he can, then you can do good, you who are accustomed to doing evil ”(Jeremiah 13:23).

Jeremiah explains that we are accustomed to doing bad things because our nature allows us to do evil just as the leopard is forced by its very nature to be spotless and not a matter of his own free will. You are not bad because you have chosen to be bad. Even those who choose to be good find themselves doing bad things against their will. The apostle Paul faced a similar situation. In the book of Romans chapter seven he discusses this situation. “For I do not know what I am doing, because I do not practice what I love; but what I hate is what I do. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; for I want to do what is right, but I can't . For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. but the bad that I do not wish is what I practice. ” (Romans 7:15, 18, 19).

CAN A BIRTH OF A WOMAN BE RIGHT?

All human beings except the first two (Adam and Eve) came to earth through a woman. They both live in the womb of a woman for nine months and are born with the genes of a man who produced sperm and a mother who produced a fertilized egg and formed man. Normally, despite the genetic predisposition of these two parents, the child will have some of the same defects that the mother would have. For example, a mother with an HIV (AIDS) is more likely to cause her baby to be born with HIV than from a father with the virus, as she will be the one feeding the baby throughout his or her pregnancy. A mother who smokes, we are told by health professionals, is more likely to give birth to premature babies for the same reasons as AIDS. So the mother's contribution to any child's disability is greater than that of the father. That is why Job wonders how it is possible for a sinful woman with other defects to give birth to a child who has no such effects but becomes perfect as God is. “How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? ” (Job 25: 4). Again he adds. “What is man, that he should be clean? The one born of a woman, even to be righteous? ” (Job 15:14).

WARNING FOR MEN
In many societies men are considered superior to women. Even the Jewish community tended to view women as inferior. The reasons for doing so are sometimes given in holy books such as the Bible and the Qur'an claiming that woman was not created in the image of God because she was given in the man's side. That reason and many other factors aim to distinguish man and woman from the standards of excellence before and after sin. But the argument made by the Author of the book of Job should have warned those who favored such a position to give a general overview.

WITHOUT ME, YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING
All human beings are evil regardless of whether they have done wrong or not. Human beings are evil not because of the evil they are doing but because they have evil tendencies that even if they are not seen on the outside, those evils are in them waiting for a good opportunity to come out. Aware of this, Jesus showed compassion for us and said: “I am the vine; ye are the branches, he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me you can do nothing. ” (John 15: 5). Only Jesus can make us do good. He enables us to act after He has done us good as He Himself does. The miracle that transforms us from evil to good is the greatest miracle Jesus ever performed.

SOMETHING CLEAN FROM A DIRTY THING

Jesus is the one who transformed Rahab from being a prostitute to being among the heroes of the faith listed in the eleven Hebrews. Jesus was the one who transformed the persecutor of the early Christians; Saul (later Paul) and made him an apostle who sent the Gospel with great power and contributed to the growth of the church. An evil person can be good through the Holy Spirit who is able to remove the evil nature by subjugating it to the ability to produce evil thoughts, words and deeds. The spirit captures and directs the mind as one voluntarily surrenders one's will to God. What seemed at first to be an impossible thing; that is, something clean from something wrong through the Holy Spirit, is now possible. Even Jesus (the greatest man who ever lived) was born from a village that was deemed impossible. “Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. (John 1:45, 46). Yes! A good person can come from a bad person just as the good word could come from Nazareth. Come with me to Jesus' garage and see for yourself how it is possible.

THE SECOND BIRTH
Nicodemus was a highly respected Jewish religious teacher and a leader. These theologians spent much of their time studying the scriptures and especially the laws of the torah and other principles in an effort to acquire the qualities that would qualify them as righteous before their fellow human beings and before God. But despite all these efforts, these religious teachers felt that they were missing out on something. In this situation, Nicodemus sought Jesus, who recognized him as the only person with divine power to help him. But because of fear of the people, the poor man went to Jesus at night when it was dark. John writes this about the incident. “Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. for no one can do these signs that thou doest, except God be with him. ” (John 3: 1-3). Jesus knew his need and directly gave him the right way to reach the standards of righteousness is for him to accept a change of heart through the new birth with the help of the Holy Spirit. "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be surprised because I told you, 'You must be born again.' ” (John 3: 4-7).

Humans begin life after being born of a woman. Unfortunately, this life is full of troubles in the presence of the bondage of sin where a person finds himself bound to be unable to do the good he desires. No one can come to life in any other way than to be born of a woman. In the same way, in order for a person to come to a spiritual life that is victorious over sin, he must first die to his original life of sin and be born again into a life of victory over sin. Such a change is necessary which is made voluntarily by the One who feels dissatisfied with the life of the slave.

THE LIFE OF A SLAVE

Man was created with the capacity to exercise free will. That power was given to him by God. God intended for humans to enjoy the freedom to make their own decisions without having to worry about such things, as God himself has always done. Man was created in God's image to be the ruler of all that God has placed in this world. And in order to be self-sufficient, he had to learn to control himself. Know the limits of his freedom. Whereas every freedom must be abolished when the freedom of the other is at stake. But sin stripped man of his freedom. And the best example of realizing the consequences of losing that freedom is when human beings seemed to be weaker than their fellow slaves when they were enslaved to free will and free labor. Unfortunately Africans found themselves falling into the category of enslaved people in the 15th and 16th centuries. Slaves were worked hard without being given any jobs. They were used as tools and other economic equipment such as tractors, shovels, swords etc. They had no choice to refuse to work even when they were tired or sick! That is the condition of any sinner. He is enslaved to sin. He does not gain anything from himself, but he does it because his master commands him to do so. Who is the Lord who commands men to sin? It is Satan.

SATAN IS THE FOUNDER OF SIN

Satan is the originator of sin. Jesus says “He was a murderer from the beginning; and he did not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language; because he is a liar, and the father of it. ” (John 8:44). Satan was not created with sin, nor was he created to be called Satan. He was created perfect, and called Lucifer a name meaning the morning star. “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the abundance of your trade they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned; therefore have I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God; as the unclean thing; and I have destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have ruined your wisdom because of your brightness; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might behold you. ” (Ezekiel 28: 15-17). Even today it is not known how sin could have happened to a perfect creature, again in a peaceful abode in heaven. But the fact is that this beloved Angel nurtured feelings of dissatisfaction with what he was given and longed for what God in his wisdom prevented him from having. He and the other angels who were deceived by his lies were cast out of heaven and came to earth and succeeded in convincing the first human beings of his deception and thus the whole world fell into sin. These wicked angels have been put in prison, awaiting judgment. The writer of the book of Jude warns us not to be caught up in what happened to the dissatisfied angels. "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." (Jude 1: 6).

JESUS SETS US FREE

Jesus came into the world to set us free from the bondage of sin. He came to restore us to the ability to choose what we know to be good, so that we would not be enslaved to sin again without our own free will. He came to give us the ability to say NO! He came to restore us to self-control. He came to give us another second chance to choose between God and Satan; between good and evil; and between being saved and lost. The hardest part about setting a person free is when he or she fails to see the importance of being set free and refuses to participate in any attempt to set him or her free. Slaves in Old Testament times had the option of being released after six years of service. “If you buy a Hebrew slave, he will serve you for six years; in the seventh year he shall go out from you, a free man. (Exodus 21: 2). But some chose to remain enslaved to the time of release. They were so accustomed to slavery that they could not believe that they could enjoy life other than slavery. “But the servant said plainly, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children; I do not want to be free; then his master shall bring him to God, and shall bring him to the door, or to the doorpost; and his master shall bore his ear through with a fork; then he will serve him forever. ” (Exodus 21: 5, 6). Such was the war against slavery in the 15th and 16th centuries. It was not easy. It was not easy because not only the masters of the slaves opposed the exercise but even some of the slaves themselves were not prepared to be set free. They were accustomed to slavery.

Jesus has promised to set us free. "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36). He knows there will be obstacles from those who are accustomed to slavery. For them this will not be good news. They will try to prevent them from being set free. But if they have fellowship with his Spirit, who will make them known to those who are enslaved to sin through the Scriptures, they will take advantage of the opportunity to be free from the bondage of sin. God uses the word to reveal to the captives about their hopeless condition and to show them how God sought a solution to their problem.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY
